LONGUEUIL, CANADA, OCTOBER 03, 2024 – Unicel Architectural Corp., manufacturer of Vision Control®, timber and aluminum curtain walls and skylight solutions, has hired building materials sales professional Amy E. Salmeron as Gulf Coast Regional Sales Manager.

The architectural, manufacturing, and construction industry sales veteran has 20-plus years of experience in architectural consultative sales, product design, access control/physical security, and specifications across various commercial facilities including Class A office space, laboratories, healthcare, K12 and university, airports, stadiums, and large warehouses.

“We feel Amy will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to both Unicel Architectural as well as our customers,” said Jason Forster, National Sales Manager for Unicel Architectural. “Her background in both specifications as well as doors and windows offers a unique background of  experience.”

Based in Houston, Salmeron attended the University of Houston Downtown and has been a member of the Houston Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute since 2008. She is also a certified CSI Construction Documents Technologist. The former National Architectural Services Manager (Entrance Systems) for Dormakaba Americas has also spent time in door/hardware sales and distribution and specification writing for a well known K12 firm, PBK Houston.

Salmeron will work closely with Unicel Architectural’s range of advanced glazing products including our award-winning Vision Control insulating glass units (IGUs), and will cover the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.
