I think that the Vision Control® units are the best window louver blinds I have ever seen on the market so far. They are the first set of blinds that really and truly completely block out vision for privacy as well as the light. The quality of the product is also the best I have seen on the market. The material is heavy duty, and the operation of the blinds is very smooth and precise. I am also very interested in Unicel’s new product, Vision Control® Mini blinds that have only a 1″ air space for installation into a 1 ¼” glass pocket.

In the OR number 4 of the Notre Dame Hospital, the double windows with insulating glass and integrated louvers made by Unicel allowed us to integrate the blinds in the windows and to cover the window edge. These two factors have eliminated the horizontal surfaces where dust tends to accumulate, allowing us to meet the strictest demands concerning infection control. Before we started working with Unicel Architectural, we were sent a sample of Vision Control®. I was not very familiar with the product but the sample convinced me it was suitable for the residential project I was working on.
