Tasks & Responsibilities
The Drafter will be primarily responsible for drawing shop and production drawings for sealed unit products (glazing). Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the candidate will work jointly with the production team, the technical and engineering team. Depending on the needs, the candidate may be assigned to the shop drawings and manufacturing of the commercial department. He will have to bring his practical side and his innovation to the level of the various design and production projects for which he will be mandated. He will have to maintain a structure of technical documentation and follow-up in order to provide a reliable and precise source of information during and after the various contracts.
- Produce shop and production drawings for sealed unit products and business as needed;
- Create and modify computer-aided designs and drawings;
- Provide technical support to employees assigned to production, maintenance, projects and sales;
- Maintaining good management practices for plans, technical documents and standardization of the library.

Requirements:
- Level of studies:
- College education or vocational diploma in industrial design or building design (or equivalent relevant experience);
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD software (2D);
- Mastery of Inventor software (3D) (an asset);
- Experience in the field of doors and windows, sealed units or curtain walls (an asset);
- Bilingualism (French and English) both orally and in writing (an asset).
